Nucknphuts Was thinking about the Ready Lift 3"F/2"R coil spacer lift and adding adjustable track bars. Will be running 33's, I know I don't need that much lift but I like the looks and clearance. Anyone have experience with this lift kit and is it worth it?

AzTJ Joe from Absolute Offroad has started installing lift on JK's since they came out. If anything he can help ya, just give him a call.

andhedrew Thanks guys. I ordered my Jeep today so I have about 6-8 weeks (estimated) to research exactly what it is I'm going to do. I want to have the lift ready so I can drive it from the dealer to my garage and begin installing.

sealane I have an 07 JK Unlimited and just installed a 3 inch Fabtech lift. My lift basically lifted my coil springs. The nice thing about installation was that we didn't need to compress the coils. It is very important that if you do it yourself, ensure that your floor jacks are high enough to let your axel drop all the way down. This will allow for the coils to go on and off with ease. The three inch lift lets me run my 35 inch tires without problem.

More 3" Lift Questions

I'll be ordering an 08 X 4 dr here soon and am trying to figure out which lift is right. I've been searching through a bunch of forums and have no definitive answer on these question so here goes:

There seem to be different parts associated with each lift kit. Usually the parts that are either there or not include track bars and control arms. I think I've narrowed my choices down to these three sub-$1K kits-

Teraflex 3" lift
FullTraction economy 3" lift
Rock Krawler 3.5" Entry level lift

Does anyone have an opinion as to which is best? Will I need new track bars and control arms if they don't come with a kit?

This will not be a daily driver but it most likely will not get wheeled much either (3rd vehicle/backup vehicle for cruising the kids around in next summer). Will be putting 35s on.
