|notlaelyk||Hey everyone just wanted to let you know I figured it out after tearing my whole steering column apart and trying to replace the turn signal switch, then the flasher, then decided to try and clean the contact points and came to find out that the right brake light/turn signal was messed up. So everything is good now. Why does all that have to happen for a single bulb though?|

|rockytj||I remember when i pulled mine apart some parts went flying. It took me awhile to figure out how it went back together. I can't remember if there are any holes in the case of it to spray some something in it or not.|

|notlaelyk||Ok so I took my dash apart today and cleaned some stuff up but couldn't figure out what to do for the turn signal thing. It just looked confusing to me. The grounds where all looking great so I'm kinda lost now.|

|rockytj||I had a issue where i would touch the brake pedal and my right front turn signal would light up but not the back. Also had a problem with my hazard light not working right. Neither one of these conditions was consistent. I pulled out the turn signal switch and pulled it apart and all the contacts inside were green. Cleaned everything up and put it all back together and everything has been working good now for 5 months.|

|Shelby427||As suggested check for add on electrical items for poor connections, then go to your grounds, it sounds like you are getting back feed over the circuits as they try and find a good ground. There are a pair of ground points, one on each side of the body below the dash. You'll see a bunch of black wires all connected at one spot.|

|Atthehop||Brush guards are well known for creating grounding issues, hence my question.|

Sounds like a grounding issue...
Do you have an alarm or a tow hitch with wiring on it?
Might want to check the connections.

Turn Signal Issues
I've been having issues with my turn signals and lights when braking. First off when I push my brakes the dash lights come on and the running lights turn on. With my head lights off, when I turn on the right turn signal my dash flashes and my left turn signal flashes very dim at the same time (can't really be seen during daylight though). Then when the headlights are on the right turn signal just turns on solid and does not flash but when brakes are applied nothing unusual happens. One other thing is that every once in a while the left turn signal gets stuck and when I press the brakes it turns on solid until i lift it slightly. Anyone have any similar issues or have any ideas of what to check? All bulbs are good and I believe I checked the right fuses behind the glove box and under the hood. Any help would be great thanks in advance. If I figure out what it is I will post the solution to hopefully help others out.
