kmafarm Welcome! Check out the forum for TJ's there's lots of good info there. And, I'm lifting mine 4" and getting 33's! If your mechanic doesn't like a lift, you need a new mechanic!!!!!!

hey e'er body .. just bought a used 1991 jeep wrangler 4.0L 6cyl.. love this jeep!

so far i have painted some trim and the interior with a rubberized spray.. which made me want bigger tires. which made me buy a new locking center console. which made me start looking at banks monster exhaust systems. which brought me here...

SO, what kind of tires should i buy? And, whats up with mechanics telling me not to Lift my Jeep?
