|hazaelnolasco||I am planning to build a snorkel system for my carb, as I had read in the old tbi system it was easier, but I have no idea of what should I do with this carb to protect it from water, what do you recommend? I readed that I can make a bok to cover the carb and the an exit for the pvc tuves, any ideas?|

13 miles per gallon is average for ANY Jeep, so to get that mileage is outstanding.

|hazaelnolasco||I finished installing it, before i got nasty 13 miles per gallon, now i get an average of 21.7 miles per gallon,and much more torque. I am working on a manual regulator connected to carb to regulate the amount of gasoline and air in it to make it even more efficient on road, I am planning to buy a hho hydrogen system also, but i want to know if somebody else had tried it? its suppose to save 40% more gasoline...|

wrangler yj with a 22r toyota carb conversion "awesome"
Hello, this is my first post, i just started in this jeep "modifications" here in honduras jeep parts are difficult to find, also in all latinamerica the 22r system is known as one of the best in its area; toyota sales sais it, there are thousands os 22r pickups in my coutry, and a lot are used for coffe transportation, i have seen some of the with over 30 sacks full of coffe, wich i will post pics after, i am no toyota fan, but i came with a "little problem" with my jeep.
I bought a yj 90 4 banger with compuer assisted carburation, very cheap , already soa lifted,the problem was it had problems with carburation, it needed 1 galon of gasoline to travell 5 miles, it also had a 6 cylinder coil wich gave to much energy, and the computer failed a lot..... also it choked a lot and it didnt had much torque... so i had 3 options, fix carburetor and computer system for 700 bucks, buy weber carb and conversion for "a lot more" or buy a regulable 22r carb and throw away the computer for 300 bucks,
one day the car stopped, and the coil had burned the pc... wich in my position was preety expensive..... so i decided to make a 22r conversion, wich now was the best desition because i now can regulate the flow of air, i have a much more compression of oxigen and regulated flow of fuel, also no need of a computer and no need of wires, and believe me , its like a demon , i used it to pull the dump truck of my uncle.
i know its hard to make a desition like this, mixing jeep and toyota, but believe me, it was the best
if someone have questions about the conversion i can answer them all, i will be posting pictures soon
