SN95GT50 When my hardtop was put on, they told me I only needed 4 of the 6 hold down bolts, and for a month it worked fine. Now it is rattling.

Saw this from someone else and used it. I didn't have the remaining hold down bolt nut thingys so I used an eyebolt. I put a nut all the way up to the eye, then a washer, slid it in from the bottom put on a large washer then garden hose gasket followed by a large washer and a nut. No more rattle (from that anyway). Now I can use the eyebolts for light duty hold downs. Wasn't necessary, but I used stainless steel hardware. Only change I may make is to use one of those nuts with the nylon to keep it from loosening.

I know how I can attach it to the roll bar, but not sure how I will attach it to the front, since there's no bar. On mine is just a metal loop type thing in between the visors. Ideas, or pics from anyone who has done it? Just for an idea I'm playing with.
Smittybilt also did ine

Brandishing?.....a Machine Gun?

Brandishing is physically holding in such a manner that could be construed as threatening. Involves the articulation of the observer and in what manner the gun is being handled....in the "holster"....brandishing isn't an issue.

A machine gun....well...all guns are technically machines....but one would assume you are referring to a "fully automatic" firearm....which from the pic....there is no way to tell.....at best it is a SBR(short barreled rifle).

Just saying....

Might look into something this for my short shotgun also.........
Maybe a rifle holster for an atv could be made to work.

Maybe a Smittybilt GEAR Overhead Console in Black
and a black rectangular ballistic nylon gun case with velcro added to one side.

I would like to do the same thing with an M1 Carbine.

I want a hidden compartment, but one easy enough to get to, to store a *cough*short, shotgun*cough* for when I'm out exploring and such. May be a bad idea, but I wouldn't mind being able to toss one in the Jeep on occasion and not be in plain view. Thinking of different ways to mount a holster too... saw the magnetic ones, but not so sure about those.

But i am sure a person could create their own and have it customized to what they want.

On a 1999 Silverado, all that is necessary is to ground one wire and low beams stay on when the high beams are on. Does anyone know if there is a similar mod for the TJ? It would be cool to have fog lights, low beams and high beams all at the same time.
I found the kit on Amazon

That would be great. Details?

Better yet, does anyone know how to make the fog lights come on independent of the headlights using only the fog light switch?
