We ran the straps through the bindings so even if the straps were to loosen the front one in the cab would at least keep them off the road haha

And as an added feature, we can see the boards through the windshield to keep an eye on them
I think you have it covered.

TrumpetRider Very nice shifter mods fellas! Not sure if this qualifies as a mod, but I strapped some snowboards to the top of my LJ for our trip tomorrow! Keeps gonna be loaded down with 4 people plus gear... Hello 50mph on the uphills...

Notes 1. Sorry for poser driveway shot.
2. I put two towels over the soft top bars to prevent any damage caused by the sharp board edges.
3. Straps just run through the bindings and pull away from each other to hold the boards sung, but not too tight to damage the top's support bars.
4. Up top keeps them more away from road salts and other hazardous debris. 5. Straps are anchored at the windshield-down securing latch, and on the rear bumper where the d-rings should be.
Pic 1 (phone isn't letting me attach more than one at a time)

brannongarrett No. If I did it was just very shallow scratches that could be wet sanded and buffed out

Wobbleknobble I like light in jeep when it's dark and something falls in floor, plus reading a map at night was a struggle so I went to Tractor Supply and picked up a clear 12v light and mounted on sound bar. Unbelievable amount of light. Has it's own switch that I can turn off and just run floor lights. It's wired in to factory wire so it still works with dome switch
01-04-2015 05:56 PM
DaJigIsUp Thank you so much. The factory bulbs don't light up anything
01-04-2015 05:19 PM
Hardermods FYI: 2015s call for 912 bulbs for the dome from the factory but the 912s are equal to the 194 so yeah those listed above would fit just fine

That's what I put in my 01 TJ. I would guess that by 2015, all of your interior lights are already LED? They are in my '13 Ram, which is what drove me to change the bulbs in my TJ.

No trouble at all! Make sure you enter your vehicle info on their site to make sure it fits your 04, or to find something comparable.

A bit pricey for a bulb, but easily 5x more light. Haven't found anything for the lights in the footwell, but honestly haven't looked either.
