┐ Mi no comprende? I've been screwing over Indianas BMV for years with little tricks and I've never heard about anything like this... aside from V8 swaps in cars registered as 4 cyls.

Engine Swap Time!
Well my spectacular 2.5L is finally getting a replacement. I got a hold of a 63 CJ-5, so I'm taking the vin off of that and registering my TJ under it (cheaper registration, insurance, and no emissions hassles ). I've got a hold of a '68 302 block for free. I went ahead and picked up a 5.0 HO intake from a 93 Mustang past wednesday. Scored the upper and lower intake, throttle body, and all new top end sensors for 20 bucks! gotta love ebay . I've also got a brand new BeCool all aluminum 4-core radiator (big one for F-body application), 22 gallon fuel cell, 180Amp GM 1-wire alternator, and a Dana 20 which will all be installed. I'll be teaming it up with an AOD transmission (and a bigass tranny cooler of course). I should have the engine dissasembled this weekend - can't wait to start bolting stuff on! I'm "predicting" the final cost will be somewhere around 2400 bucks by the time I'm done, making it a nice summer project I think. I'll probably also throw an A/C back on there now that I will have the power to run one on the street. Should make things more fun.
But anyways - I'll be keeping you guys posted
