Asfir4x4 Try the vehicle wrap material. You can buy small pieces of it in black (gloss and matte) on ebay for cheap.

The Stuff sticks well and will last.

Fine sand paper, a few cans of bed liner or paint of your liking, acetone, and that is all you really need.

I just recently bought a 08 Jeep Wrangler and it came with some after market parts, mainly chrome taillight covers and a chrome gas cover. I'm not a chrome fan and was planning to trim my silver wrangler with black. Rather than buying new parts I was wanting to just paint these black and see how it looks. I just need a few ideas how to go about this, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
