x2...most don't seem to understand this concept however.

the stock fenders have an opening for the tires to tuck into, nearly flat to the fender.

whats most important is correct bumpstop length...otherwise you can rip up even the higher clearance stock fender...with a 31" tire on 2" of lift.

Don't go over 1.25" of body lift or you will start having problems.
You start hitting snags like brake lines aren't long enough, shifter hits the body and won't get all gears( can occur at 1.25" as well), fuel tank lines need extended, transfer case linkage issues. Get a jks , or savvy 1.25" body lift and be done with it.

Irongrave get some flat fenders no need for a body lift ot if you want cheaper just start cutting (look into the DIY highline conversions)

TJ32141 3:07 gears or 3:73? 35's are tall, you might cause other problems.....

x2, 35s will fit on 4" of lift with a 1.25" BL all day long with proper bumpstop extensions.

rda616 I am running a 1" body lift and a 3.5" suspension lift with 35" tires. You don't need more lift you just need proper bump stops! And if you want more lift then a 1.25" body lift at most!

GoldenSahara00 add .75 spacers, chances are your springs are sagged some so it wont hurt your shocks, and a 1.25 BL. you can run 35s on that as long as your properly bumpstopped.

lift kits

hey everyone, i have a 99tj sport straight 6 running a 5 speed. right now i have a 4 inch lift (suspension) and 32 muds. id like to step up to a 6 inch lift on 35s. someone told me spacers were an option, or adding a 2 inch body lift. i know suspension lifts are a lot better, but i dont wanna take apart my 4, sell it, and then find a 6 to buy. let me know what my options are on that. thanks in advance.
