scotiez Your welcome. if you have any questions when your installing it just let know. I tried several different positions for the motor itself before i found what i actually liked. Every position i tried would have worked, just i'm fussy and wanted it more to what i wanted.
I think you'll be very happy with it. When i 1st bought my jeep i saw that hoist and thought oh man thats what i want, just no money to get it then. I looked at many other options for building my own but nothing compaired to the lange power hoist. It is truely the most elite hoist out there.

I still want a softop someday for the summer time, but its not as important now since i have the hoist and i can now take off my top very easily any time i want to now. If you have a garage where you can install a hoist like this then do it. Its been the best money i have spent so far and well worth it.

Ya I meant which hoist. I have my hard top off right now and soft top on which is down right now. I just dont carry the windows with me so Id still be kinda screwed if it was forcasted for possible rain

Yup I built my own an it's great! Except that if it rains and your miles from home IMO u need a soft top.

softtop wanted

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a softtop in good or brand-new condition. I might even be interested in swapping my hardtop for one. I'm in Grand Forks, North Dakota, just across the river if anyone is interested.
