97WranglerOhio I just want a little house on a lake somewhere with a garage with room to work. I'm not sure that's asking too terribly much. I'm not too concerned with where it's at just as long as it's somewhere!

Jeep.chick A good birthday, yes.
Tonight, the kids and I are making my favorite dish - chicken cordon bleu- and they made a cake. So, all good. A nice quiet weekend with the most precious little beings I've ever known :-)

The animals --
Donkeys - LeRoy and Bob
Horses - Becky, Sunny-Michelle, Clover, Piper, Oliver and Oscar
Cow - Darlene
Lovebird- Pete
Chameleon - Hank
Box turtle - Sheldon and Shelly
Chickens - lots of them... Too many to name here. But the kids have named them all and they love to be carried, they squat, spread their wings and wait to be picked up. lol.

I miss it. I will get there again. We were talking about it recently. We found a few nice places for reasonable amounts.

JGreen06TJ Hi Sarah, did you have a good birthday? Sounds like you've got a great place and a good mix of animals. I grew up on a small farm (cows, sheep, pigs, and lots of baling hay). It was a good life.

Huge Katy Perry fan (just gotta leave the volume turned off). She's a looker.

I had 20 acres once, a new house, big barn with an old horse standing out back. Couple dogs, lots of barn cats running around. Only thing I didn't like was working 2 jobs to finance it and 5 hours on a riding mower every weekend trying to keep it up.
Mine only had about 3 acres that was by the house that was cleared. Not to much to mow. It wasn't too expensive. A house, trailer and 20 AC for 68000.

But that was my former life when I had a spouse

JGreen06TJ Never heard of her. Googled her and she's cute. I don't listen to too much that's current. Still like my 80's hair bands and 90's grunge. Good thing about the Jeep, it's loud enough I don't even turn the radio on unless I'm just running errands around town.
Raiderfan001 I prefer it if I can listen to them and watch them. Kacey Musgraves...meow...

You just keep getting better and better. Agree on the wooded acreage. Mine started as a soybean field then I planted 250(ish) trees on 5 acres and had the neighbor farm the rest. Wish I had started in the woods and taken down just enough trees to place the house. Maybe next time.

I can't listen to Katy Perry at all. I just appreciate her, um, attributes.
