MattGale scratch that question i found the answer in a sticky. would yall recommend regearing, or just buying a new axel assembly with 4.56 gear ratio? it sounds like it'll cost me between grand and $1500 to regear, around here its probably the higher number. but a D44 axle assembly with 4.56, and ARB locker is around $2200. would yall recommend waiting till i have the extra money to do that?

JDsDream Welcome From the Peach State

There is a lot of great information on here regarding lifts. Check out the Lift Sticky in the JK section of the forum

TBrownSTL Don't forget you need to regear when putting bigger tires on. Maybe 4.56 gears.

So I wanted a jeep since I could drive, but just finally got around to gettin one. Before I was driving an Impreza and just now realizing how easy it would be to dig myself into a money pit. I bought a 2011 2dr wrangler, its currently the smallest thing in our driveway and needs some height to it. I'm planning on buying a rough country 4" ez flex kit. It's a lot harder than I thought to find a lift for a 2011 over 2". I realize that the "complete" suspension kits don't stay complete long once you start realizing everything else you have to buy to keep the vehicle moving. I'm thinking about waiting until I have a good bit of money saved before buying anything so I can knock out as much stuff as possible at once. I'm thinking a 4" and 35's. I'm really hoping for a list of parts I'll need to make my "complete" suspension kit into a real complete kit. I'm not looking to build a monster, but I don't want to be worrying about something breaking off everytime I drive down the street. I'm pretty new to this so any help is appreciated.
