trail-n YJ now will the 4BT give me any more power as well, i mean yea its much stronger than the stock 2.5, and with the removing of the motor mounts arent there the attachments that modify your mounts to fit what is going there or is it that problem that causes how far down the engine has to be?

bdheaton If you search the forums, you'll find plenty of information. The most common V8 swaps are to Chevy engines. The most common diesel swap is to a Cummins 4BT. Since you're going to be cutting out and rewelding motor mounts, have you considered a stroked Jeep 4.0L?

Do some searching of the forums and a bit of Googling and you'll find more info than you could ever want.
