With your 4 banger and 33's, 4.88's is what you need to get closest to stock with a bit more ummph.

I read from some other forums that 4.56 works the best for this set up. What is the difference between the ratios? I'm looking for something that will give me the power I need on the highway as well as the torque for offroading.
Any suggestions on retailers/websites to buy new gears from?

|MVintherTJ||Yup. With 33" tires on a 2.5l, you should regear to 4.88s. I did and it was a GREAT improvement.|

Newbie - Upgrades after Lift Kit
I'm installing a four inch suspension lift kit on my jeep this Saturday. I have already installed a new steering stabilizer. The site I purchased the lift kit from recommended the steering stabilizer (and it was only $30). I'm looking at getting new wheels(15") and tires(33").
I have a 2001 TJ 2.5L and was hoping to receive some advice on what other upgrades should be considered after installing the lift kit.
