4.0l sahara I power wash the engien on all the cars in my drive way alot keeps them clean doesn't hurt one bit. Just use some common sense.

Odhinn If your jeep starts missing after the wash just unscrew the cap, flip it over and spray the inside with WD-40, which actually stands for Water Displacement-40. Should get you back running again.

Walkeraviator Rule one.. make sure engine is cold... Shock coolig a hot engione with cold water cracks heads and blocks.

Rule Two.. Cover up electronics

Rule three.. preceed the power washing with a healthy dose of scrubbing bubbles... it does a world of good.

activelydying I've used engine cleaner on mine before. I just covered the intake and the distributor cap. Worked pretty good.

Levinoss Should be able to just turn it off and try to avoid the disp pack.

Keep some WD40 around

is it ok to power wash the engine/ engine compartment .....i got alot of build up mud in there and dont feel like scrubbing with a brush or a trying to get in there with a rag...thanks for any replies
