Crunchy Search google for Haspin Acres. It's about 3hrs from Columbus located in Indiana. It's 750 acres of land and they pretty much let you do anything there. You can camp anywhere on the grounds and there is even a sign at the entrance that says you may drink and drive (though I dont really recommend it). That's where I go when I go wheelin with my buddies from Cincy.

TNI has been shut down for awhile. Well let me say, if you can get across railroad property with out getting towed, you're free to go. I've heard they ALWAYS have someone searching.

vgerardi I have gone out with the Ohio 4x4 Trail Riders Club about 4 times. It's a good way to learn the trails and it's always nice to have plenty of people on a ride with recovery gear, tools, ect. They let you ride for the first time free then there is a yearly membership fee. I forget how much it is but its not very much. They meet up once a month at a Donatos in Reynoldsburg and then they usually do one trail ride a month also. I haven't been out with them for about a year but they all seem like nice people.

Where is this public trail in NW Ohio? I have been in Toledo for 4 years now and have heard of nothing legal around these parts.

BugTrail I know this is an older thread, but I just picked up a new jeep and I want to get it dirty. if anyone is interested in hitting the trails, let me know. I don't mind traveling a couple hours outside of Columbus.
