Why bother with the lift stuff now? Jeep Wranglers have a crazy aftermarket. There will be confirmed fitment for 2012s in the next few weeks I'd expect.
I'd bet money it'll all be the same, but I'd just wait for confirmation.

|Irongrave||is it s 2 door or 4 door. if its a two door take a sharp knife blade to the plastic fenders and you should be all set on 35s for the most part.|

|temperedphenix||Downfall is i bought the jeep threw military auto sales, im in afghanistan right now. Long story short they know less about what they are selling than I do. And i dont know very much. Any idea when the specs will be released so I know if they changed the mounting areas? Thank again for the good info!!!|

At least 2" of lift or flat flares.
But you also need new wheels or at least wheel spacers.
No need to change either axle, your friends are ignorant. 2011 lifts should work, but I'd wait until the company you're buying the lift from confirms that.

need help with lift and tires and axel
Buying a new 2012 rubicon right now and I want to put a lift on it and ride on 35's it is also my daily commuter. Can anybody tell me how high of a suspension lift I'd have to go with. Also I thought I heard that if you put 35's on a jeep you have to change out the axle is this true? Also will 2011 kits work for the 2012 or did they change the suspension set up and mounting points? thank you
