Matcheen The fill plug is on the passenger side near the top. The drian is a pita and is at the bottom on the end closest to the T-Case facing the rear axle...take the skid plate off and they're easy to see.

Where is the drain and fill plug on my tranny?

I know this sounds like a dumb question but I have crawled under my Jeep and looked and I cannot tell where the drain and fill plug is on my 87 YJ. It has the 5 speed MT....prolly the Peugot piece of crap but it is so covered with grease oil and dirt I can not discern any drain/fill plugs. Any pics will help.

Thanks!!!
