Salo I'm running 285/70/17 basically 32.8 ish x 11.5. I have plenty of room for up to 33x12.5.. no lift and no rub whatsoever on 08 sahara jku. This is on a 4.5 backspacing wheel

Wandell A 285/65-18 is basically a 33x11.50 tire and will fit easily with a 2 inch lift unless you pick a wheel with a really weird width and backspacing. I have a 2 inch lift and am running a slightly wider 305/65-17 (33x12.50) tire using a 9 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing.

HobieJeep 1.2" wider and .5" taller (.25 rise at the axle) from the stock 255/70/18
1mph diff for the speedo.
Maybe a slight rub at steering-lock. Depends on your wheels n back spacing.
You did say "much" though huh?
The main thing would be weight. Big difference between P-metric and LT tires.

Tire sizes for 2008 sahara with 2 in lift

Just 2" lifted my 2008 sahara 4d. Thinking about 285/65/18 Goodyear silent armor with ION rims. All the online stores state the tire is not the right fitment because it is not OEM? Will these tires fit without much problems?
