Durango You should be able to see if the frame end nearest the dent suffered any damage as they have a pseudo crumple zone I believe - look at the shape compared to the other side, and if it's the same, don't worry about it. I've bought brand new vehicles with dented bumpers I've had the dealer replace before - the salespeople try and squeeze them into some really small (too small) spaces and sometimes that happens.
Curious - is your leather the aftermarket type, i.e. Katskinz (sp?), or did they actually put the factory leather seats in?

kik 99.999% there is no other damage other than the bumper which dents easy, is easy to replace and is real inexpensive to the dealer. You won't have a problem. I'd rather have them replace a bumper than have to paint anything. Better it was the bumper and not the body. Good luck with your new JK.

seldon128 That's great to hear. You know how it is on normal cars these days. A small hit is a huge expense. Nice to be driving something with more resilience.

kjeeper10 If it's just a small ding I highly doubt the frame has damage. Those bumpers are week especially on the ends, no protection at all. The bumper is easily replaceable, I would just have them replace.

Trouble with my New 2011 Unlimited Sport

I'm the proud owner of a 2011 Wrangler Unlimited Sport. I had some trouble at the dealer though that I would appreciate your help with. I have no previous experience with Chrysler\Jeep so I'd like to hear from you so I know what to expect?

When I purchased my Jeep it came with cloth seats. The dealer said they could put leather seats in it and so I bought my Jeep. It took a week longer than they promised before they could schedule the work. When they finally called for me to pick up the car and I was inspecting it with the sales manager we noticed they had run into something and the front bumper was dented.

They promised to replace the bumper but I'm worried there may be frame damage? Has anyone had something like this happen? Should I ask for different car or let them fix the damage?

Thanks Everyone
