hound2005tj except it doesn't come with an o-ring but they said it should get here by tomorrow hopefully so i can put it on before i go to work

TJDave ^Man, way better price than what I paid. Good job. I called the dealer, then found one online that could be shipped right away. I thought I got a good deal. I guess not lol.

TJDave I did the same thing. I was in too big of a hurry installing my SYE. I put it back together anyway. I asked the same question as you did. I got the same answer. So, I did not drive it. I found a new one from Morris 4x4 center.

hound2005tj just desperate only but i wont drive it anywhere i could've tried to jb weld it or glued it but i couldn't find the other pieces

OMG I broke it

OMG I broke the transfer case oil pump housing for the pick-up tube o-ring. This is a prime example why we should have the right tools at the beginning and pay close attention and not lose focus. I didn't see the output shaft rear bearing retaining ring because i frustrated on not having the retainer ring pliers and raining as well. I I just put it back on and hoping it would work but I am looking to purchase a new one. So how bad would it be if I drive it to work it's only 24 miles back and forth?
