What if you ship to someone in the US especially small items and use the free shipping from the vendor , than have that person reship to you? Are there extra taxes that need to be paid that would be forgiven if the items crossed the boarder as a gift?

My club recently arranged for a discount with our new 4WP location (which wasn't open when I initially ordered from Quadratec) so I'm waiting for my discount card to arrive in the mail this week and if nowherre else online is an especially good deal I'll go haggle with those guys and make use of my new discount - they like me.

I'm replacing it with a frameless top simply due to personal preference (I personally don't like the look when folded down, and think there's no reason the windows couldn't be larger) otherwise it would have been kept and probably lasted me at least a few more years. Zippers held up great, and the whole top remained tight enough even after 15 years that I still had trouble locking in all of the little flaps if I didn't do them in a particular order to ease the tension at the trickiest points.

my oem softtop lasted good for 14 years up untill a few months ago it started coming undone. wish I had that luck, maybe south Louisiana's summer arnt great for it with the humidity and all idk

jeremyh172 I just put a Quadratec Premium soft top on, I don't have any pics of it put I will take some, also I haven't even put the top down yet due to cold weather. But I will say its very quiet and seals better than the bestop that was on it.
$399.99 was the cost, 2 day shipping.

you know I've seen some people say good things about this top then write back a few weeks later saying the same thing. lots of bad reviews afterwards which caused me to scratch them off my list

OlYellerTJ Brand: Bestop

Style: Sailcloth Replace-a-Top, Black

Price: $430.00 delivered

Pros: Direct replacement for OEM, EASY install, tight fit (leaks less than OEM), MUCH quieter in the cabin (I can actually hold a conversation AND listen to the radio on the highway due to less wind noise, buffeting, flapping, et c.), and the window zippers actually work

Cons: I'll get back to you...

Pics: See all the other posts in this thread; they all look about the same as my top but it's the performance that counts!

YMMV, and invariably will...

raif281 never mind after looking at the pictures I see it's not the frameless one

I would recommend as a affordable replacement but for a few$$ more, there might be a top that is just a little better. so far holding up well. been on jeep for 2 months my top only sags on the left rear due to my frame is damaged and same with the one upper door, the frame is damaged.
is this the sprint top? I was looking at getting their sprint top since its a cheaper end top.

also I think this is a great thread let's get it back up and going

Yeah, the one above was the older SuperTop style. The NX version sounds like it is a better unit.

Nx versions use the factory hardware.
