You can just show up if you're not sure. It's be a good warm up for JeepSkool in September. (I'm Tymac on all of the other sites)

Here is the address found on their website 3943 Mount Pleasant Road
Dover, OH 44622

Since I don't know where you're coming from you'll have to google the directions yourself.

38 drivers have called in as of Friday. We expect to see about 50 total which should keep the trails flowing nicely all day. I hate over crowding.

mooodyb2000 I will definitely see if I can get at least one of those days off of work. Sounds like it would be fun.

98tj25l I'll try to be there, but that's right when classes start up...

Cautionstayback200ft You can make it as easy as you want. There are plenty of by passes built into the main system to get you around any area you think is difficult. We'll have trail leaders on hand to assist if you'd like to challenge yourself and your rig.

mooodyb2000 Out of curiosity, as far as being a first timer on trails. How easy is it for a beginner using a daily driver? I have an 06 unlimited. Looking for a nice ride, nothing crazy.

Rickam Nice I'll be there. I live in Millersburg OH

Dover Dirt Trails

A few weeks ago myself and another forum member were invited to give an evaluation of Dover Dirt Trails to see if the trail system and obstacles were sufficient to host a once a year 4x4 truck get together(although he is open to renting the property to offroad clubs). We met up with Marcel (various forums) and the property owner, Steve on Tuesday night. While the place was designed for quads and dirtbikes the trail width and turn radius were created with a small bulldozer through 60 acres of typical southern Ohio woods. The trail system is completely marked with signs marked hard and easy. The easy is just a short by pass around the obstacle. This property offers plenty of challenges for newbies to even the most hardened wheeler. Lots of rock obstacles to twisted trails to mild hill climbs to almost insane hill climbs. There is 1 section that is going to have a mandatory 2 trail leaders on hand to run. After 4 hours of evaluating we only saw 1 tree that needed to be moved.

Plans are in the works. Cost is $20 per rig. Passengers are free. Plenty of room for trailering. There are 2 dates they are considering which is either the 2nd or 3rd weekend in August. We're pushing for the 3rd weekend since many of us will be at the Bantam Fest.
