Paul_G I drive like a lunatic here in the Middle East. I'm about 2x the speed limit in my car and 3x on my bike. I always drove within 10 or so when I lived in the US. Now when I come home I drive the same +10 in a car, but I'm -10 in the Jeep. It's a '12, so up to speed shouldn't be a problem. Wife just looks at me amazed. Her on the other hand, she is an aggressive driver, so if I've had a few beers and she drives, then I am holding on to the o'sh*t bars....

Everything's just more laid back.

Plus the whole "stand in a parking lot for an hour talking to other Jeep owner" thing has already happened to me on the 2nd day of Jeep ownership, although it was at least in part because it happened to be the previous owner of the Jeep.

Paul_G I thought motorcycles tires were going to lead to my divorce at once a month for replacements. Hopefully my mod list doesn't fall into her hands!

Paul_G When it's easier to climb into your muddy lifted Jeep than it is into a car without hitting your head.

And for the wife when she, unprompted, calls a stock Jeep a baby jeep.
