1BLKJP Well if you end up going with a TJ style tank with the fuel pump/sender in the tank itself the filter is all a part of that unit.

blueJeeps I know the later ones have an electric in tank however I have seen a few swaps done using an electric like a Holley frame mounted with a regulator.
Also need a return line.
The filter is frame mounted near the rear axle.

YJ Engine Swap Fuel Question

Hi,

I have a 90 YJ with a carbureted Inline 6cyl engine and I believe an AX15 Trans. I have purchased a used injected inline 6cyl engine and from what I have been told it will bolt right up to the trans I have. Because the swap out engine came from an auto trans setup I will have to purchase a speed sensor relocation kit from Advanced Adapters. But my real question is what will I have to do to the fuel system. The carbureted engine had a fuel pump on the sided of the engine, so I'm guessing I will need a tank with an internal fuel pump to push fuel up to the injectors, also where would be a good place to install the filter. If anyone has done this it would be very helpful to shed some light on this for me.

Thanks,
Chris
