Hi from another newbee!

debruins i would ask over at but i know some of then over there cut out part of the wheel well and moved the seat back. i can tell you that im 6' 1" and i ahve no problem once im behind the wheel, that hard part is getting in b/c it is lifted and the steering wheel sticks out

however a CJ7 may be a better option. i would personally find a CJ5 near you and get in it, see how it feels, oyu dont need to test drive it to know it wil be WAY too cramped

btw my 6' 3" uncle can drive it just fine, but idk how it would be if it was ur DD

shameless another thing about CJ5's, I'm 6'5" how much room does the old cj5's have in the drivers seat area? I have a feeling that I'm going to be better off with a cj7 or a yj. I've even considered an early model bronco or scout, but I'd rather stay jeep.

Yep thats ace, my american pit bull terrier. My mom got a jeep recently and I had to drop the tank on it, ace rode in it all day while I ran parts, then we went home, he didnt want to get out. so at least I know when I get another Jeep, I'll have a riding buddy.

as for the Y'all, rebelbulldog. I grew up in south eastern ohio. (might as well be the heart of west virginia.) You can tell where somebodys from in ohio by their accent. lol

shameless thanks for the welcome nregas1, glad to hear theres plenty of info. I'm still leaning toward a vintage mb or a willys cj versus a newer one. I guess its just going to come down to whatever deals I come across when the time is right.

Hey Y'all!

I'm seth, I dont yet have a jeep. I used to have a 95 wrangler but it met its fate between two other vehicles. I'm joining so that I can do more homework on what kind of jeep I want to get. I think I want an old willys but at the same time you cant get as many parts for them as you can the newer jeeps. I hope to learn as much as possible here. thanks for the read!
