I finally found The Fan Resistors

Wow, what a PITA but I found where the resistor are on my 97 2.5. Thanks to all WF members that have made mention of this problem and it's solutions. Last night i pulled the HVAC panel and followed the wires down and behind the glove box and down to the blower motor (Fan). I eventually found the found the box of resistors which is actually mounted inside the blower housing. The screws for this are are in the passenger compartment. I had a wire that ripped off along with some dead leaves in the box of resistors ( I have no idea how they got in there) reconnected the wire and all is good.

Thanks again to all that had knowledge. I'm going to post some piictures if i can. Two jobs and a full time student doesn't give me much time for anything. I sacrificed some sleep to get this done.

Thanks again
