new jeeper and lovin it!
So I've wanted a jeep for years, and I finally grew the stones to just go out and get one knowing the response I would get from my firecracker redhead when I got home after being told "it's not practical for my primary vehicle" . So last month I found a steal on a 2010 unlimited Rubicon in show room condition, brought it home and endured a brief tongue lashing, followed by a 2 hour cruise around town with my wife and the family. Turns out she was a closet jeeper and didn't know it! Funniest thing about it is I barely got to drive it for the first 3 weeks cuz she was hogging it every day!
Anyway, we both love it, and we're eager to hit some trails, but don't know where any are around Dallas. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. We're as green they come and still fully stock, so looking to keep it simple for now until I get the money to slap some mods on it.
Also, I'm looking to put together a good "essentials" tool kit and wanted to know if anyone else might have already done the work to put together a list for a good baseline trails toolkit.
