Ageless Stranger Personally, I wouldn't trade Julie's JKU for a semi truckload of YJs, and I don't have anything against YJs.

The first reason is probably because I learned how to drive stick on my buddies in high school (10 years ago), and I fell in love with it then. It was a well built up rig and one hell of a fun ride. He still owns it but it sits in his pops' works' parking lot. If it ever goes up for sale I'd be all over it. I doubt it ever will, but that doesn't keep me from asking now and then.

The second reason why I probably still want one is because, my first car could have been a stock YJ. My cousin almost sold it to my dad when I was in high school, however he ended up keeping it. It still sits in his garage today, and still completely stock, but I still want it. It being well taken car and still stock makes it very appealing to me still.

Is it wrong for me to already want a second Wrangler? I think not haha.

If you guys want post some pics of your rigs.
I always wanted a YJ too, so you aren't on your own

StatonCW What state? I've got a buddy, I think he's selling his 89. It's not stock but it's nice

$1600. and yes, ill do it all myself, I got plans, 4" lift, 33's and one of many combinations of: 4.0L or a GM4.3L with 704L60 or 4.2 with a 4.0 head and SFI, some sort of overdrive trans mission upgrade. Then transfer all the goodies off my 90 2.5L

Seats are mismatched, and the risers are wasted, got an extra set of seats form something...

3 rear bumpers that wont bolt up...

Pics later (you'll see the thread in a day or so).

Yeah I'm already saving. Going to lay off modding my JK too much right now just some basics, bigger tires and leveling lift. I think in a about a year I can, unless my cousin ever decides to sell his. I'd love to get a stock YJ and make it my own.

2xs Dont feel bad, Im buying a second today....

its not bad to want a second one thats older then yours is, its cheaper, easier to lift, and has the potential to be your fun jeep while you keep your newer one nice!
