JIMinSVAZ something someone local does to get his to work with an older iPod is he turns on the iPod, starts playing music then plugs in the usb cord and then the stereo will control it. Mine however just works, so I leave it plugged in and it seems to work every time thus far.

Good luck!

USB connectivity with 2011 130 RES

I have been trying to figure this out but it seems nobody (including the dealership and jeep themselves) can answer this. Are there any other mp3 players aside from apple that will work well with the USB connection on the 130? Neither my phone nor my ipod are compatible at this point and I really don't want to go spend another $300 on an new ipod just to get this to work. Thanks, and any other suggestions would be welcome.

P.S
for those of you who have this set up that are using an ipod, what model and generation is it?
