|drhodes||Excuse me I just saw the wife and I which I'm assuming means no kids, stick with put put avoid buffets and hooters, also go to wings, its a cheap t-shirt place with all kinds of beach nick knacks. And go to every bar you see, the crowd at myrtle beach is ridiculous sometimes, but always fun to watch.|

|drhodes||Don't stay at ocean lakes its either too young (15-20) or too old (70+) do play put put if the kids are young enough. There are a ton of good seafood places, but it is very tourist oriented, so if it has an all you can eat buffet, and a huge concrete crab, don't rule it out. You can fish at the piers if that's your thing, or cruise the jeep, tons of golf (more than you could want) I live in upstate sc, so we went all the time as a kid bit they closed the pavilion so that was my main memory as a child with the big wooden roller coaster. It's a great vacation, and if you're staying in ocean lakes its really not that bad just rent a golf cart a be a redneck. Have fun.|

The wife and I are making a trip to Myrtle Beach this weekend and on into next week. We've never been. Any suggestions? Do's and Dont's? Good eating?
