Inked I would suggest looking for a 92-95 rollbar on Craigslist or the junkyard as well. It took me awhile to find one, but I got mine for $50, great condition and bolted right in

JonnytheGreat Thanks BDK, I have went there as they have just put one in corpus, no yj's yet. Might just sit back and wait to see if one shows up.

JonnytheGreat Sorry thought I would make it easier if I said CJ roll bar, not sure what the non-family ones are called, I have checked craigslist since I have owned it, and there is nothing. Thats why I was looking online, plus the price of the online kit was roughly what I would pay for one down here.

But I still think it would be easier to swap in a family bar if you can find one at a decent price.

Have you checked craigslist in your area for jeep parts or part outs?

444 I have been looking for a family style cage around here for a few months and haven't found one. I plan on having some tube bent and welding it in myself.

NewYJOwner, I have a 90 YJ, would the spreader bars I have not fit the new kit, or am I missing something, I am still new so any help would be much appreciated.

i'd have to agree with the previous poster, idk if they're still there, but there were 2 yj's at the local junkyard that had full family roll cages, er at least one of them did, but that was a week ago and i know they don't last long, i'm suprised i got the full steel door off of one of them(better shape than my current drivers side door).

Convert from CJ rollbar to Family Rollbar

Just found this little kit, I am not a welder nor have I ever tried. The website is very basic and would like to get your guys input on this prior to ordering. Thanks,

YJ Rear Family Add-On Cage Kit

Also if anyone knows, what is D.O.M. Tubing and is it worth 60 bucks more, I'm on the budget side of things.
