This morning, they woke up and I heard them walking around the tree saying : "wait a second, there's nothing here for me!??"

Thanks for the advice. She's CTICU and it can be quite rough on her sometimes. Not dying children, thank God...but I can only imagine dealing with the stuff she tells me about. Felt like a single Dad at times when she was in school and working at the same time. My kids are older so that's easier at least. And my career has meant some crappy shifts at times, I've worked more holidays than not and she's always supported me and made the best of it. I will do the same for her.
