Just got back from Marble Falls and Jones Jeeps. Man, what a great bunch, there. The Jeep drove like a dream on the way home. Got it up to 65 just to see what the rpm's were like in OD - about 23-2400. Then back to 55 for the rest of the trip home. Stopped a couple of times, but just briefly to let it rest a few minutes. Man, I'm happy camper, and it only cost me about $1600! Highly recommend this shop.
Hey wolf, what is your name so I can let them know who recommended them - they didn't recognize your screen name.

It is a mile or so south of Barton Springs on the left if you ever make it down that way. I don't have any experience with any of these shops but it will get you started with how much to save.|

I know that 4wd Parts here in Austin can do them, but does anyone have any suggestions for other shops where I can have my Jeep re-geared in or around Austin? I need to get some estimates so I can start putting away for it. Thanks.
