drummerwookie oh yea, i had a blast. i really wasnt use to having that much lift or those big of tires..lol..so that was a nice new addition...my rubi only had 2 inches of lift and so did my ZJ before that...

there was an obsticle there that i new i wouldnt have cleared with my Rubi, so i thought, what the hell lets give it a shot with this one and try out the lift...and it cleared it with no problem...tires has a little problem with traction on it, but i cleared it and went on my way

drummerwookie thanx guys. yea, that is a good way to tell how steep it was.

i have only gone up that hill one other time a couple months ago, right after i lost my rubicon, and my friend let me drive his ZJ down there while he took his YJ and the ZJ made it up that hill like it was nothing..lol..thats one reason i was dissapointed that i couldnt make it up with the YJ. but, the more i think about it, those dead leaves werent ont he ground when i drove the ZJ, and, i may have just picked a tad different of a line at the bottom that made me get more into the tree roots then i had with the ZJ

ygohome Cool. That green YJ looks good with that bestop softop and softdoors. you can really get a sense of how steep it was when your front tires lock up and you continue to slide coming down that hill.

finally took my new jeep offroad

i had a LOT of fun with it. but i do need atleast a limited slip in the rear...there were to many places it couldnt flex enough to keep 3 wheels at a time on the ground..lol..and my buddy with a 92 YJ 2.5 with a bit less lift and 31 inch tires was showing me up like crazy bc of his rear dana trac limited slip. i was a bit dissapointed, but i just gotta get use to the YJ ways again with its leaf springs.

on one of the videos, i had a bit of trouble going up this hill as you'll see. it a very steep and long hill...and at the bottom, there are some tree roots you have to go over, and thats where it went wrong for me...youll see my jeep bounce a bit and slide a bit sideways on the hill, leaving it PERFECTLY lined up to slide right back into a tree...so i had to stay in the jeep with my foot on the brake until my buddy got his straps on mine and just gave me a little tug and i made it the rest of the way under my own power

i also think those tires didnt help to much either..i just wasnt getting the traction...there was one part where we come out of a creek, and my friend just drove right out like it was nothing...well, it took me about 8 attempts to get out, and i had to take a different line then he did yet..

heres the pics
