Btm I will 100% be there. Did not get to make it last year so this year is a must! See y'all there

JEEPSTANG Jeeptoberfest is less than a week away. I honestly believe this will be the best one yet. I need to add to the directions a little. After you exit 75 onto 484 you will go east approx. 8 miles and 484 will go to the left YOU WANT TO GO STRAIGHT, STAY ON THE 4 LANE UNTIL IT ENDS AT HWY 27/441. Then turn left and the market is on the left.

Hope to see you all there,

Paul

JEEPSTANG Jeeptoberfest is 2 weeks away!!!!! I honestly believe this may be the best one yet. We are again having a food drive, a couple years ago we filled almost 3 Jeeps. Let's do 4 this year, with all your help I believe we can. That being said please bring a non perishable food item with you. Hope to see you at Jeeptoberfest, it's going to be a blast!!!

1st Jeeptoberfest

Hey guys,

I just moved to Central Florida about one month ago. I Purchaced a 2004 TJ just last Monday. I was stoked to see there was a Jeep club so close to me. I'm really excited to come to your party and even more stoked you will have a course for stock Jeeps. I am planning on upgrading her for medium duty off roading, but thats down the road a bit. Anyway can't wait to see all the sweet jeeps and maybe making some new friends. (I don't know anybody down here yet)

JEEPSTANG I would probably check with some of the hotels in the area. Last year we had well over 600 Jeeps attend.

Therunner Sounds pretty cool

badluckkyle Count me in. Is it going to be pretty full, or will I be able to just go into a hotel and get a room?

ockgator Exit on I75 is 341, there's 3 hotels there microtell, hampton inn and not sure of #3(possiby sleep inn). This exit is about 8 miles or so from 441, straight shot from i75, all 4 lane road

In the villages (roughly 10 miles south) there's a holiday inn express on 441, with a few others about 5 miles or so south of that one on hwy 466

Of course there's a pile of hotels in ocala, roughly 10 miles north

Its really not but a minute outside of Ocala. So where you normally camp, or hotel at, will most likely still work just fine.

Legion of Jeepers (Tampa) will all be there.
Where and when is the Legion of Jeepers (Tampa) leaving from Tampa?

Thank you.

sell33 That sounds like a blast...unfortunately I live in Ohio haha. I hope you all share some pictures!

Also, if anyone has pictures from past years lets see em!

JEEPSTANG As said above this year Jeeptoberfest will be held at the Market of Marion just south of Belleview on Hwy 27. If you are coming from I75 exit on Hwy 484 and head east. Follow it to Hwy 27/ 441 and head north and the Market will be on the left (west) side of the road.

I am a member of the Ocala Jeep Club and I can tell you that if you have been to Jeeptoberfest in the past I think this one will be the best one yet.

For you stockers, the stock course is right at a mile long. There is one good sand hill where you will need 4wd. Of course you will have plenty of opportunities to flex your suspension.

For the moderate crowd, the course is also longer then in the past. You will drop down into the woods and immediately test your flex and ability to navagate the trees. Once you exit the trees you will need to navagate a series of holes and a K rail. After the K rail you will make a sharp turn and drop into a hole (your roof will be even with the top of the hole) which upon climbing out brings you to the rock garden. Next come a series of steps , k rails, etc leading to the exit. If it rains plan on having trouble getting out of the hole. Requirements I believe are 33's and hopefully you might have a traction aid.

For the extreme crowd, you follow the intermediate course through the woods and exit to the extreme course. From there it is amazing what they have done. All I can say is good luck. The rock pile actually goes up a hill.

For anyone who plans on camping, or staying in a hotel and have not already made reservations you may want to try the Belleview area. I75 and 484 has a few motels and a campground (about 8 miles from market). There are also campgrounds just south of the market in Summerfield and Lady Lake later about 10 miles. Those who stay in Ocala you will be about 10 miles from the market.

If you have any questions I will try to answer them.

Good Luck and have Fun
Paul
