36x13.5 down to 35x12.50???

So I am going to be needing tires before winter hits and i have been doing research online till my eyes hurt. I currently have a set of 36x13.5r16 Irok radials on my TJ and love the look, ride, and capabilities of the tire, the only thing that i dont like is how fast they seem to wear... i got the jeep with these tires and in the 3 thousand miles i have put on it have noticed the wear. the jeep has a full size spare irok that has never seen pavement.

im looking into getting a set of 35x12.5r15 km2's with a new set of black steel crawler rims instead of replacing the iroks. price wise it is cheaper for me to do the km2 and rims then replacing the iroks, just wondering how much it is going to change the looks/capabilities of the jeep. i have read all kinds of good things about the km2's but was looking for opinions from the experts
