I used to do that when the grocery/gas station offered cents off based on amount of food purchases. I'd fill up the Trailblazer then haul 10 gallons home to fill the little Saturn. I figured I saved $20-$25/month and my family vehicle that I hauled my newborn in always smelled like gas so I stopped doing it. If I had a bigger tank and was hauling in a pickup bed it might have worked better for me.

I know right lol. But I've only had a 5 minute commute since June- when I moved out after ex and I split up, I was driving 50 miles a day. And I made a few trips out to Morganton and Asheville, worked in our Raleigh office, visited family in Jacksonville.... Lol

I love driving mine too. I'm tough on vehicles though when it comes to miles. I had my Charger about a year and a half and put over 30k on it, and those were hard miles lol. I may or may not REALLY like speed. But the Jeep is a ton of fun plus I've made a few long trips in it.

Paid 2.87 this morning when I filled up. Last week when I was passing thru SC I saw it for 2.71 along i77. It's the typical predilection ploy to make us think things are better and forget all the negative till the polls close
