Leave it on while on the road, take it off when you are doing something like rock-climbing. What the TCS(Traction Control System) does is brakes on different wheels to help straighten you out when you start to slide or skid. On Wrangler Sahara and Rubicon Unlimited models it's the "ESP OFF" button down by the Gear Shift. I haven't seen the inside of the Wranglers at all, i've only been in the JKU's Sahara and Rubi models. Don't forget to wave!!! If you don't know what the wave is, all you do is wave at all other Wranglers. It doesn't have to be a JK, it is ALL Wranglers and if they don't wave back, you tried.

Traction Control Button on Dash

I just pruchased my Jeep Wrngler Unlimited Sport. I received a dish that is supposed to contain the manual and other items of interest, but, the disk shows that it is empty.

Can anyone tell me what the purpose of the traction control button on the dash board is for and I leave it in the "on" mode or in the "off" mode. I have been trying to find out what it is for.

Thank you.
