mhaines Could have been the Trec race that started at 7, KOH qualifier . Hope no one got hurt.

Was out there all day yesterday and had a blast! The Trec guys were out practicing and were fun to watch.
Ended up with a blown tire that sent me home

Mike5087 Oh you napervillians....so frugal... Haha kidding. I feel ya. I wouldn't be going if it weren't for me working in Indiana. I drive to Indianapolis every week. Never really knew how bad my gas mileage actually was until the last few weeks! Shits tough on a wallet!

jp2611 scribed might be up for this depending on the day only a 2hr drive......or so

HowardJ no no, to camp.. instead of staying at the park at badlands. I hear a lot of people prefer that in the summer because the heat just makes the BL campgrounds a dust bowl.
10-04-2011 03:42 PM
Pebbs Summers Camp Ground have trails? People go out there to wheel?
10-03-2011 11:48 PM
HowardJ I would love to meet up with you guys.
I live 15 minutes away, and sadly have only been once (when I was younger)
I live 3 minutes away from Summers Camp Ground, I have heard of quite a few people that like the camp there versus the park. Again, I have never been there. But I don't really have a reason to since I live by it and in the woods.
This is my first Jeep, and I would LOVE to take it to the BL.

Anybody else wheel with a manual tranny?

Mike5087 I'm going to try to go this weekend. Gunna be my first time out. Looking to hit some easy trails

Pebbs I'm in any day in October... I work nights, so I'm down for whenever!!! I traded my Rubicon in for a 300C. There was so much wrong with the Rubicon. Anyways, I traded the 300 in 2 weeks later for a Nitro, I just traded that in for a 2000 sport. LMAO I had to get a jeep!!!

Vonsidhe i have only been to badlands, but i have gone a few times already (only 100 miles on my jeep). i have been told that badlans is better than cliffs because its larger and has more novice trails than cliffs? dont have any experience at cliffs so back that up though!
09-26-2011 09:19 PM
crikeyjeepturtles cliffs is in marseilles. I hear from some they like badlands because of the mixed terrain but I don't know much

I'm cheap too. Didn't think about camping. Was going to wheel open to close but camping isn't a bad idea. I'm game for the third or fourth weekend of october.
