drivebytruckerz I'm happy with my factory front bumper with "milk jugs" removed and replaced with factory end caps.. but that's just me. As for the rear, I just bought a Smittybilt classic rock crawler with 2" hitch.

dasaffen I like the smittybuilt xrc rock krawler winch bumper. Its pretty cheap too about $400. I don't have it, but i wish i did lol.

DUCKIT I have the Currie V 45" bumper ....I like it
Currie Enterprises 4x4 Rear Ends Bumpers

zpratt4 LoD Rear bumper

Not sure what the front bumper is

JayJohnson What do you guys think about the RR XHD modular bumper? Anyone have it and like it? That is the one I am leaning towards. Still trying to decide though on what front one I should get.

McGridDLe I went with Smittybilt XRC with the tire carrier in the rear, and as for the front, Im still trying to choose between the XRC and the Bestop High access bumpers.. Not sure if I will go with either of those cause I still have plenty of time to think about it and shop around, but as of right now thats what I'm lookin at.

Bumper

I like my SKID ROW bumpers I have them front and rear. I like the storage area in the rear bumper to put items like dirty straps, shackles and snatch block until I can clean them up and put them back inside the Jeep.

try Blank (the dirt worx)
robert built this one for me $355 very heavy duty
I am pleased with it. I just need a winch to go on it now.

also I included a pic of a factory fail at 3mph, I slid in the ice into another bumper on my dads ford van. It didnt even scratch his bumper but its an old ford van. But it crumpled the jeep bumper good.

TJNewbie RIPBiker that bumper is sweet! I also like the small Fabtech bumper, & the SRC or RRC bumper (Smittybuilt or Rugged Ridge)

uniquetj I prefer the look of the stainless 3 inch double tube with hoop. Thats what I have on mine. I was able to get the front, rear, and nerfs off of Ebay for $600. They're cheap and they look awesome!

RIPBiker13 My bumper cost $35 to make. But a lot of time went into it as well. Short bumpers are great because they wont get hung up on things as easily. I used 1/4in plate too, so it's really strong.

TeeJay I love the ORFab bumper, but the rear (more important to me so I can get my spare off the gate) doesn't hold a spare, that mounts to your hinges instead. I'm gonna give my vote (this year anyway) to the SRC line.
That's the ORFAB front, and I still love how simple and utilitarian it looks. I might buy that for the front and the SRC for the rear with tire carrier and just finish them both the same way.

tazmann910 I agree with the Rugged Ridge bumpers. See below.

acopsy88 stock**

acopsy88 I like all of the bumpers so far haha... anything better than the stuck with the milk jugs at the end lol

MR.CLIFFORD For TJ bumpers it just doesn't get any better than a Hanson.

but if you don't to drop some serious coin on a bumper just whack it all off and go custom.

The bottom of my "bumper" is 6" higher over the stock frame.

ratzila I like my BTF bumper with the stinger

11-13-2007 08:15 AM
cavediverjc I modded my stocker for a custom look. Not as heavy duty as a custom, but works great until I can afford an SRC set.......

SurfnSnow I've got the FabTech bumper upfront and the RockHard4x4 tire/carrier combo in the rear and both are pretty stout.
11-12-2007 09:20 PM
mr4x4 I like this one only because it didnt cost me anything

but I like the short bumpers only because I dont hit them as much on the rocks
