|j0nx||Nice thanks. I have had nothing but ill attitude from a few dealers here in the DC area about doing similar things with jeeps they have. They absolutely will NOT swap wheels or top or anything on an in stock vehicle for me. There is one that is perfect but it has a soft top and they will not do anything for me about it. They have another that is also perfect but has those ghetto polished aluminum dubs on it and they won't replace them with the standard sahara wheels. These guys at farrish jeep are very frustrating. They just will NOT work with customers at all and are downright mean as snakes. I don't think they like being in the USAA program or something.|

I got a 2012 JKU a few weeks ago. It was on the lot with the body color hardtop which I didn't really want. The dealer had a 2011 black hardtop in inventory and swapped them out for me. They also deducted the extra cost I would have paid for the body color hardtop.
Had it on for about a week with no problems...been soft top/topless since.

|ranjr||I put an '11 soft top on my '12 with no issues. Not 100% sure on the hard top but I see no reason why it wouldn't fit. Try calling your parts counter at the dealership and have them check the part numbers.|

thought someone would have been all over this by now.....sorry, can't help you. I can tell you a 2002 TJ Rubicon hard top fit a 98 Sport TJ. Did the same thing a few years back. Good luck.

Does the '11 freedom top fit the '12?
Forgive me if this topic has been covered but I was wondering if I knew someone who was going to sell me his hard top on his '11 to put on my '12 then would it fit or did they change the design or size of the '12? TIA.
