I've got a 2006 TJ and I'm quite sure it's got an identical suspention to your 2002. I'm useing a 3" Terraflex suspention lift. I did a 3" lift because my jeep is a daily driver, I didn't want to mess with brake line drops and stuff. I simply wanted a good all around drive on and off road. Any way I've got 33" tires on it and they fit no problem! I've never had them even come close to rubbing. I attatched a photo of some pretty good articulation and as you will see the 33's clear the wheel wells just fine. Good Luck!
