Might be something to consider after I'm done with this axel and locker in the front. Thanks and if I do go EFI, I will probably be calling on your help as I've never done that and my father in law which is my assistant and coach in mechanical things is color blind. Lol

BlackedOutYJ It's only a play toy not my DD. But I do like it in the weekends. And if I went the propane route I'd rather put that money towards a diesel.

if you don't drive it on the road, you could always get the 302 and put it on propane. then you wouldn't have to worry about steep angels or anything.

And as far as the pinion angle, we got it right back to the stock angle didn't do a degree check honestly but we did bolt everything up set it on the ground and fully suspended the suspension to check it and it was all good. Then tacked everything up, pulled it out and welded it solid. Be putting it back in for goooooood tomorrow.
09-26-2011 06:19 PM
Hoosierbird So, what did your pinion angle end up being?

It's actually off the axel, just not the jeep. Those bolts were a bitch! So they got left there for the night.

BlackedOutYJ Got a lot of work done today! Got that shotty d35 out. Put in 8.8 got correct measurements and driveshaft angle. Tack welded everything. Pulled it back out, welded it up solid. Then I finally quit for the night. Will be finished on Tuesday after brake lines are ran and I figure out a way to rig up my e brake cable since I'm too cheap to spend the $120 on the correct one. Will update again on tuesday. And sorry about the pics too busy to be worried about that. Lol
