RIPBiker13 WOW! The social aspect is almost as great as the ride itself. Just like Jeeps. That's why I like them.

I was headed to work yesterday but I had to stop to get fuel. A guy in a Jeep stopped at the pump right next to mine and we started talking about Jeeps and that evolved into motorcycles too. Turns out he rides... So for a good 10-15min we talked in the snow. That's how it is. THEY wouldn't understand.

And I don't ride in the snow. I will in the rain but prefer not to.

JCS05Rubi Thats how my dad is. He had 3 types of cancers, had his stomache cut open MULTIPLE times, lived to tell about it with NO stomache muscles left at all. Can't even lift the trash out anymore, or he will get a hernia. So what did he do? Sold his BMW touring bike, and bought a Burgman 650, because the weight is lower on the bike, and he can still ride it Bikes are awesome, but the people are even better.

RIPBiker13 I didn't make the headlight but it WAS handmade for me. I'm not THAT good. And it was expensive, but it made the bike. And I won't kill him, he'll grow up some day. My tattoo

I wouldn't hold your breath on that, this is the same kid who wants to marry his TJ, busting your balls about spending money on your bike...

RIPBiker13 There is nothing like top and doors off, but right now it's too cold. But when my bike gets out of the shop I'll be riding it.

JCS05Rubi 23 degrees 2 nights ago, 65 yesterday in the sun, now its 38. I wish it would make up its darn mind! Oh well, im actually really diggin this hard top anyway With the back window open, and both windows rolled down, its close to being windowless
11-25-2007 09:08 AM
drummerwookie i havent had the top off my new jeep since i got it. been to chilly for me lately. i did take for doors off for a day, but that was it
11-25-2007 03:28 AM
jjseel As soon as the nasty stuff stops for a couple of days, the top is back off! I got gloves, and my TJ's heater ROCKS! (have broken ice off the top to go topless) I would rather put more clothes on than drive with the top on. I get off work @ 2300 or later, the moon and the stars are so much clearer in the winter!
11-25-2007 02:38 AM
Chad P Its freaking 20 degress here in denver so yes my top is on and will be for a long time.
11-25-2007 01:58 AM
jjseel RIP you don't win sh*t! I got wet so many times this Spring with the top off, I had mold growing in the cup holder! I should have stock in lysol! I kept trash bags in the console to put over the wet seats ( sometimes I actually made it first, before the rain) I've had the carpet out so many times, it doesn't take 15 minutes to put it back in. I was thinking about Rhino lining, prolly still will, but that doesn't remove the need for carpet, due to the heat from the floorboards...damn, ya just cant wear the "mandals" unless ya got the carpet in!
11-25-2007 12:06 AM
RIPBiker13 Only time mine got wet on the inside was while wheeling and I got caught in a flash flood. So I win

For the record; my top is still down/off.

RIPBiker13 My freakin' windshield cracked on the way to work today! And before you ask, no I didn't throw hot water on it!
11-24-2007 07:51 PM
JeepersdoitDeeper Cold, raining, in the 30's with a bit of sleet now and then. Top up for me. Sucks to, cause I need to swap out my warranty top but it's not warm or dry enough to do that. A few more weeks and the hard top goes back on for the rest of not-summer.
11-24-2007 07:01 PM
tiny terror My top went back down today and the soft doors are back on.

I thought I would add something useless.

Yes I run topless when I can. As soon as I get the garage cleared out the top will be permanently removed during the summer.
11-24-2007 01:22 PM
debruins my top is up b/c it the highs have been like 35-40 and at night its been like 10-30
