ladyjane I think you will have to take the scales outside. I don't think an 18 foot wheel will fit in most garages!!!!!!!

(I am sorry, I could no resist!! )

Panther and Kelsey, I am glad you actually LEARNED your lessons!!

Chris M If it helps, my stock 17" wheels come in at 30lbs.

Kelsey73 I learned that the hard way too.... I'm not allowed to store my doors in the house either! Didn't have a rack built yet so I figured the living room was a good safe place to store em!

And if you have one, remember these steps:
1. Take scale into garage....DO NOT take haul big ass tires through the kitchen, living room, and into your wife's bathroom or she WILL keel you.
2. Sweep/clean floor in garage where the scale will be placed...or you wife WILL keel you when you return the scale to the bathroom with cobwebs, dirt, motor oil, and dead leaves stuck to it.
3. Remove shoes for this test or your wife WILL keel you when she finds big dirty ass work boot foot prints on her scale.

These are the kind of things I tend to screw up...

I'd do this:

Get on your scale....weigh yourself.
Grab your spare wheel....weigh yourself again.
Post results...

I'm curious as well. Maybe someone with a Rubi can do also....

Several people could do it for accuracy.

ESP The OEM 17" alloys are around 25 pounds I believe so the 18" have to be more.

4Jeepn in general they are about 1/3 less than a steel rim in the same size.

xcantuaj Thats it? I was thinking more like 30lbs...18inch wheels should be heavier

4Jeepn I would say 20-25lbs as a ballpark.
