A coupla months back I got tired of constantly removing/reattaching the 2 little bungee ball cords for my Spiderwebshade that secure it to the soft top latches, so I decided to run without them on a trial basis. 2 months later and the shade is still just as tight as it ever was with those 2 bungees in place. Cost: $0.00.

|GroovyGeek||Wrapped the ends of the foam padding on the soft top bars in the rear of my JK with black Gorilla tape. From the rubbing when putting the soft top up/down the ends were splitting/tearing. Gorilla tape looks SOOO much better than Duct for exterior cosmetic use.|

|PrecisionPowder||It would be called a tire mounting machine. Then you have a balancer which is completely separate|

"If I may ask, what the heck do you call the "machine" that mounts the tires? I can't for the life of me remember."
I'm seriously not trying to be a smart-aleck, but when I worked with Goodyear umpteen years ago, we called it a "tire-changer." I don't remember the brand name.
(Please don't shoot me if that wasn't the answer you were looking for.)

I'll have to retract my previous comment. The other posts saying it's best to mount the tires first is spot on. I didn't factor in the human equation. Plasti dip comes off the tires really easy so any over spray wouldn't be a factor. After reading through this thread it's obviously better to err on the side of caution and dip the wheels after the tires are mounted.
If I may ask, what the heck do you call the "machine" that mounts the tires? I can't for the life of me remember.

Not sure if this has been posted here before...
Off-road urinal! Pull front driver drain plug, attach 4' rubber tubing to a funnel, other end out of drain plug hole, zip tie to ensure it is secure. Use as needed. Works for women too. Do the same mod, however it is a little more expensive, you will need to buy a "She-wee". Happy trails!![/QUOTE]
Buddy of mine did the same thing to use as a spittoon.

Anyone ever been scared of the back floor mats flying out while naked? They've been close for me.
Simple Velcro in corners will help. I did have to us a utility knife to cut off the little grips on the bottom. Other than that, it was very simple

I like that this one is stamped to fill the grill slots. Steel mesh is quite heavy-duty, better than I was expecting. Install was easy, maybe 30 min tops.
Looks good and functional. Will keep leaves, stones, bugs, out of the radiator and allow plenty of air flow.
I had the same minor issues as Milani. Brackets don't quite line up, but they work. Screws on top make the grill cover difficult to re-mount. I ended up reversing the screws so bolts were on top and dimpled the plastic on the rad cover so the screws had somewhere to sit. In the end it mounted flush and there's plenty of room between the screws and the hood.
Very happy with this for a quick, easy, cheap mod.

Amazon.com: 2007-2014 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door-Door Entry Guards: Automotive
With the vehicle as high as it is, you are constantly stepping on that door sill, well worth the $20 even if they are stick-em's

I am vacillating between this, the "Vertical Billet Grille+Outer Shell Insert" and the DYI really cheap version.
He also has chrome and aluminum versions that look good too, at even lower prices. Decisions, decisions
