X2, tj wasn't available in diesel, you'll have to get jk crd 2.8, from 2007 onwards. If you happen to find a tj with diesel its a custom conversion.

Petrol or Diesel?

Can anyone help?
I want to buy a used (second-hand) Wrangler, living in Scotland petrol is quite expensive, so a diesel model would be my first choice.
Does anyone know when the diesel model was first introduced to the UK?
All the Jeeps I've seen for sale before 2007, seem to be petrol driven, would this be correct?
Hope you can help
Regards
Adrian
