pb250r I think I might of found my problem. I put the shackles on with an impact. Does anyone know the torgue specs on the shackles? I think I'm pinching the spring and causing the rough ride. I'm going to replace the shackles with greasable shackles and grab some OME shocks.

jeeperman Greaseable shackles front and rear will help ride quality, as will higher quality shocks, if you are looking for a smooth ride, I would recommend Old Man Emu.

HkdOnJP i heard the boomerang type shackles will fix the rough ride or help

bryan93yj Leaf springs are aways stiffer than coil springs. I had a superlift "superide" 3.5" lift before I went all out with coilovers and hated the leaf ride but I dont know about other suspension lift brands.

RIPBiker13 They will both work, but the "extreme duty" is a more complete kit, so come time for install, no surprises. I have a TJ and I got the super flex because it had the few extra items, like discos and brake lines.

It cost's a little more, but it's a better investment. IMO

pb250r What's the difference between the standard and extreme kits? The jeep is basically a daily driver.

I couldnt agree more! I have the stock hydros on there.

RIPBiker13 The extreme-duty is the complete kit. Go with that one. There's no such thing as a "cheap" lift. You get what you pay for.

pb250r What are you running for shocks? I still have the stock hydos. I noticed you have the 4.0. I have the 4cyl. My buddy has the 4.0 and it rides night and day different. I'm sure the weight helps that.

nycom96 My RC lift rides fine.....

pb250r Which RE lift? They sell 2 at 4". I'm ready to rip the thing off and start all over again.

whiteyj Pay me now or pay me later.....Rubicon Express. Sometimes you can't cheap out and need to wait and save your pennies before you pull the trigger.

pb250r The lifts been on for a year. So i would think it broken in by now.

RC rides like crap!!!! Help!!!

I recenly purchased a 95 yj with 21k orginal miles. I put a 4" RC lift. The thing rides worse than a park bench. I was thinking of switching over to OME shocks. I have them on my lifted XJ and they ride very nice. Has anyone used these shocks on a YJ? They are about $300 for the set delivered. I run 32" tires on stock wheels with spacers too. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...
