|KevinWarren||My 08 2 door JK turns on a dime. I suspect the 4 door would not. Might be advantageous to have the shorter wheelbase in traffic.|

|azyjjk||I have a 12 JKR and a 08 JKUR. The 08 rides better than the 12 but I don't mind the ride of the 12 dr. door at all. The MT's on the 08 were quiet when new (same with 12, 400 miles) but with 24K on the 08 I now hear them. Will replace with AT's. If I lived in NYC I would get the Sahara. In my opinion the Rubicon would be overkill for you. I have never driven a 2 dr. Sahara but my guess is that the ride would not be that much different. The Rubicon does have gas shocks and there may be a difference in the spring rates, I bet not much.|

Is this salesman Correct?
I am in a similar position as this New Yorker. I prefer the look of the 2 door Rubicon over the Sahara however the salesman tonight said it would be to hard a drive as a DD commuting from NJ to NYC daily. He said it would be to loud with the Mud tires and rear axil set up. Do you agree? Will the ride of the 2 door rubicon be that different from the 2 door Sahara? Please advise?

|ShoreWrangler||Sahara is the only choice for your needs. Good luck|

|kik||If you get both tops you'll have to be able to store one of them at any given time. The soft top can't be stored under the hard top (shipping purposes only). If you can't store the soft top just get the hard top and take off the panels. The unlimited has a longer wheelbase so if space is a concern get the 2dr. If you have the extra $ get the Rubi if you want to. All JK's are capable. The cloth seats are fine. Check them before you decide. You should test drive a Sahara and Rubicon before you make a choice. Being in NYC traffic you might want to consider an auto. Good luck.|

|tflilal||Thanks! The only reason why I need the hardtop is because in ny... people seem to be A-holes and decides to just gash soft tops they see for no reason.... I've seen plenty of soft tops on the streets with the top gashed.|

|daggo66||Sahara FTW. Since you need the hard top, topless summers will be tough if you don't have a place to store it.|

Which JK to get?
Hi everyone, I am fairly new to this site. I was reading around and it seemed like everyone is very helpful to a new jeep driver so I will give it a shot. I am looking forward to buying my first Wrangler. I live in NYC and will use it as my DD. I've always loved the wranger because it can tackle the NYC snow in the winter, top down in the summer, the compact size will easily allow me to park on NYC streets, easily go snowboarding without having to worry about my car getting stuck, plus it looks AMAZING. Now since it will be my everyday driver, parked in NYC, I definitely need a hard top. Leather seats, AC, powered window, and navi is a plus. Will the Sahara be the best bet for me since Sport nor Sport S offers leather seats? Or should I go for the Rubicon... however, would that be a waste since I don't do any offroading besides driving to snowboarding and through NYC crappy roads. I am also deciding between the 2 door or unlimited. The website is super confusing with not much comparison.. it seems pretty outdated too. I am looking for a 2012 model. Thanks in advance!
